Sho Yoshida awarded Genius Award at Singapore Maker Extravaganza

Sho Yoshida, creator of Craftel, is awarded Citizen Innovation’s Genius Award in recognition for his innovation, Craftel, and his contribution of inspiring others to innovate.
His innovation, Craftel, is a robot made of paper and powered by wind. He made his innovation opensourced and available for everyone to download free, hoping to inspire interests in science.
His earlier work Shellmo, another robot, is available online, has inspired countless spin-off around the world.

Singapore teams honored with BIXPO Special Award for Originality and won 2 Gold Medals in BIXPO International Invention Fair 2019

Singapore schools won 1 Gold 1 Silver in iCAN 2019
This year iCAN saw 356 participating teams from 50 countries. 2 local schools got a sponsorship from Citizen Innovation to distance participate and won 1 Gold 1 Silver.
