The following are the type of awards issued by Citizen Innovation to innovators, as a form of encouragement, for their hard work and dedication:

Genius Honor Award
First introduced in December 2017 during Kaohsiung International Invention and Design EXPO (KIDE).
The amount issued is up to 1 per show and Citizen Innovation reserved the rights to whom to honor.
Genius Honor Award is no different from Genius Award except it is what Citizen Innovation considered most worthy and deserve highlighting. It is largely for ceremonial purpose and not reflected on the Certificate nor the Medallion. It will only be reflected on Citizen Innovation website and if possible, award to the recipient on stage, if organizer permit/arrange.

Genius Award
First introduced in December 2017 during Kaohsiung International Invention and Design EXPO (KIDE).
The amount issued is up to 1% of the total number of entries, or no more than 10 per event; whichever is lower. Citizen Innovation reserved the rights to issue lesser but not more than the amount specified.
As of 1st October 2018, other than the host country, only one Genius Award will be issued to each participating country.
A Crystal Medallion and Certificate are awarded to each recipient.

Outstanding Award
First introduced in September 2018 during 10th International Exhibition of Inventions (IEI) and 3rd World Invention and Innovation Forum (WIIF).
The amount issued is up to 2% of the total number of entries plus Country Coefficient, or no more than 20 per event; whichever is lower. Citizen Innovation reserved the rights to issue lesser but not more than the amount specified.
A Certificate is awarded to each recipient.

Young Innovator Award
First introduced in February 2018 during Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEX).
The amount issued is up to 2% of the total number of entries plus Country Coefficient, or no more than 20 per event; whichever is lower. Citizen Innovation reserved the rights to issue lesser but not more than the amount specified. The recipient must be undergrad or below and not more than 30 years old.
A Certificate is awarded to each recipient.
Other Guidelines of Issuing Awards governed by Citizen Innovation Constitution:
- Citizen Innovation forbid the exchanging of awards. All awards must be awarded voluntary.
- Citizen Innovation’s decision is final on all matters regarding its awards and no correspondence will be entertain in relation to that decision.
- Citizen Innovation have the right to withdraw without advance notice in the event of extenuating circumstances beyond their control.
- As of 1st October 2018, Country Coefficient is introduced on trial. Country Coefficient is the number of participating countries plus host, divided by 5.
- The total amount of awards issued per event shouldn’t be more than 5% of the total number of entries plus Country Coefficients, or no more than 50 per event; whichever is lower. Citizen Innovation reserved the rights to issue lesser but not more than the total amount specified.
