Singapore innovators took home 11 awards at 2017 Kaohsiung International Invention and Design EXPO (KIDE)

The biggest win for Citizen Innovation since its forming a couple of months ago. Our home grown ideas took home 11 awards amid limited resources and support in Kaohsiung International Invention and Design EXPO (KIDE) held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (8th to 10th December 2017).
Besides all 5 entries won an award by the organizer, we also received 6 special recognition awards from Indonesia, Iran, Macau, South Korea and Thailand.

About Kaohsiung International Invention and Design EXPO (KIDE)
2017 Kaohsiung International Invention and Design EXPO (KIDE) is organized by World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) and Taiwan Invention Products Promotion Association (TIPPA) at International Convention Center Kaohsiung (ICCK), in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from December 8th to December 10th, 2017.
Kaohsiung is heading toward “green”, “eco”, “technology”, “culture” and “natural” development. The city enjoys a year round sunny and pleasant climate. It also has successfully utilized its rich history and culture, mountain and ocean resources, and developed them into veritable tourist attractions. As one of the most important transport hubs in Southeast Asia, the public transportation network in Kaohsiung is excellent, with a well-developed three-dimensional transportation network rendering sea, air, and land transport.
This international event is the first exhibition which combines “Invention”, “Design” and “International Conference”. Participants are from more than 26 countries with more than 500 entries competing.
