In view of the COVID-19 situation, as of 3rd April 2020, Japan imposed an entry ban to travellers from 73 countries. The ban includes at least 44 European countries, 12 Asian countries, four countries in the Middle East, five African countries, six Latin American countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Ideas and views interchange among students is the most important purpose for the Expo, so the participants are mainly students, all levels are welcomed. The category is not only invention or design, but also art, technology or performance.
One big difference of the Expo is the participants can present their works in any ways, to be more creative and innovative to get visitors, judges or buyers’ attention. More than 100 schools such as Tokyo University, Chiba University, Yokohama National University, Tokyo Denki University, Tokyo University of Agriculture, Tokai University and Musashino Academia Musicae will be participated in 2019 Japan Design & Invention Expo, we sincerely invite you to be here with us!
We recommend confirmation of your participation at least six to eight weeks before the event begins. This is due to logistic arrangement needs. Thank you.
