In the current climate of uncertainty regarding international travel, the organizers preferred postponing the world’s largest event of its kind until next year. The International Exhibition of Inventions will therefore take place at Palexpo from 10 to 14 March 2021.

Indeed, nearly 50% of the exhibitors come from the Asian continent, a third of them from China and a third from Hong Kong. With the closure of certain borders and the quarantine measures imposed in some countries, planning business travel is proving complicated, especially as events involving more than 1,000 people will remain prohibited in Switzerland until 31 August 2020.

“The Climate Show, a guest of the International Exhibition of Inventions, is also postponed to the same dates in March.

The Climate Show, a guest of the International Exhibition of Inventions, is naturally also postponed to the month of September.

The Exhibition will therefore be held from September 16th to September 20th 2020 at Palexpo.

The International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva is unique in a number of ways. Firstly, in the interests of credibility, it is only open to innovations that have been patented for under a year and have never been presented in Geneva before. Secondly, it is sponsored by the highest-ranking political and technical bodies, namely the Swiss Federal Council and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). Last but not least, it is supported by an 85-member expert jury covering the various categories of inventions, who hand out around 50 awards, including the prestigious Grand Prix and the Invention Oscar awarded by the public.

We recommend that you confirm your participation at least six to eight weeks before the event begins. This is due to logistic arrangement needs. Thank you.
