We are saddened to hear news of the passing of President Hsieh, the founder of World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA).
He has done an admirable service in making an impact to the global innovation landscape, creating opportunities for outstanding innovators to showcase their talents.
He is among the first to encourage Singapore (absence for more than 10 years) to rejoin invention fairs and the first to offer free technical assistance, consultation and know-how to organize Singapore own fair and promote Singapore innovation abroad; which ultimately led to the formation of Citizen Innovation.
His passing is not only a great loss to Singapore but to the international community as well.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
